Overview
This policy explains how the Great Idea Wedding Organising website handles information when you browse it or contact us.
Enquiry form
When you submit the planning form, we store the details you enter (name, phone or WhatsApp number, event date and city, guest count, services and message) together with the time of your consent, the form language, the page it was sent from and, where available, how you arrived at the site. This is kept in a secure database that only authorised Great Idea staff can access, and is used only to respond to your enquiry and plan your event. Incomplete or abandoned forms are not stored.
Attachments
You may optionally attach up to three files (PDF or images) to your enquiry. They are kept in private storage that is not publicly reachable and are opened only by authorised staff through short-lived download links that are recorded in an audit log.
Website analytics
We only measure visits if you allow it. With your consent we record pages viewed, taps on services, buttons, WhatsApp, phone and Instagram links, photo opens and video plays, starting and sending the form, the site language, device type and browser, the site that referred you and any campaign name. Two random codes are kept in your browser: one for the browser and one for the visit, which ends after 30 minutes without activity; both are deleted if you decline. When you send an enquiry, the visit is linked to it so only authorised staff can see it — your name, number and message are never copied into analytics. We use no cookies or device fingerprinting and do not store your IP address. Your choice is saved on your device only and you can change it at any time.
Retention and deletion
We propose keeping enquiries for 12 months unless they become a booking. You may ask to see or delete your details by contacting us.
After your enquiry is saved you may optionally continue on WhatsApp. This opens WhatsApp with a prepared message that is only sent if you press send yourself, and WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies.
Spam protection
We do not use device fingerprinting or tracking cookies. To prevent abuse, our server turns your connection address into a one-way scrambled code using a private key that changes daily; it is used only to count submissions within an hour. Your actual IP address is not stored.
Information we receive
When you contact us via WhatsApp, phone or Instagram, we use the information you share only to respond to your enquiry and plan your event. We do not sell your information.
Third-party services
The website links to WhatsApp, Instagram and Google Maps, each of which has its own privacy policy that applies when you use it.
